Drops of Jupiter

Drops of Jupiter

There's a night sky out there, somewhere in some distant place that seems all too far away from this cozy bed. There indeed is a whole galaxy of life, light, and existence outside of this fragile entanglement that we find ourselves in.
This? This feels like home, but far more exciting. So much more unsure.

The potential that exists before this kind of thing is like a fantastic explosion of neurotransmitters in a synaptic space. The chemically-initiated electricity that we induce for each other is, in a word, great.

I've been here before. I've been in the whirlwind of excitement and first impressions that temp you into believing someone to be absolute perfection.

With you? I find myself out of my element.
Let me explain.

Jupiter is known as this gargantuan, gaseous planet. There are swirling mixtures of excitement and chemistry that have the physical likeness of hurricanes. My love, in the best way to be, you are a hurricane.

You embody all of these exciting qualities that draw me in and consume me. The infatuation is, in a word, intoxicating. I believe that it was said that in the eye of a hurricane, one may find quiet. Dearest, when you hold me, I find myself in the eye of your hurricane. It is this fantastic space where time stops and stability reigns. It feels safe and quiet with nothing but the thumping of our hearts as they speak to one another.

This meaningful quiet is at it's peak when we doze off into unconsciousness together. We ease ourselves, with a comforting and lovely understanding, into slumber. It is in this moment when I am acutely aware that, somewhere out there; in the galaxy of light, life, and existence, drops of Jupiter riddle the night sky.

Darling, they remind me of you.
